Case Study: Monsoon Stillorgan Restaurant and Takeaway

CLIENT OVERVIEW

Monsoon Stillorgan is a well-established Indian restaurant and takeaway serving the Stillorgan area. While the business had a basic online presence, it lacked the digital tools needed to fully support dine-in reservations, catering enquiries, and scalable online ordering.

As an approved supplier of the Restaurant Association of Ireland, Articulate Digital Business partnered with Monsoon Stillorgan to modernise and optimise their digital customer journey.

THE CHALLENGE

Before working with Articulate Digital Business, Monsoon Stillorgan faced several limitations:

  • A basic website with limited customer navigation

  • No integrated table reservation system

  • Catering orders handled manually, causing friction and missed opportunities

  • Online ordering not optimised for ease of use or conversion

These gaps made it harder for customers to engage with the restaurant efficiently and limited the business’s ability to scale.

THE SOLUTION

Articulate Digital Business implemented a tailored digital upgrade focused on usability, automation, and revenue growth:

  1. Website Optimisation & Navigation

  • Redesigned the website structure for clearer menus and faster decision-making
  • Improved mobile responsiveness for takeaway customers

    2. Table Reservation Widget

  • Introduced a seamless table reservation widget
  • Allowed customers to book tables instantly without calling
  • Reduced staff workload while increasing confirmed reservations

    3. Catering Ordering Widget

  • Implemented a dedicated catering widget for indoor and outdoor events
  • Enabled customers to place catering orders directly online
  • Simplified large-order management and improved order accuracy

THE RESULTS

Following the implementation:

  • Online orders increased significantly due to improved customer navigation
  • Table reservations became easier and more consistent
  • Catering enquiries converted into confirmed orders through a streamlined process
  • Overall customer experience improved, leading to repeat business
  • By removing friction from the ordering and booking journey, Monsoon Stillorgan was able to scale its operations without increasing administrative overhead.
