Deanna McDonagh is a highly qualified musician, educator, and music therapist based in Galway, with a reach extending across Limerick and Tipperary. She holds a BA in World Music, an MA in Community Music, and an MA in Music Therapy from the University of Limerick, and is certified in Rhythm to Recovery. She has achieved Grade 8 Drum Kit with Trinity College London and is a registered digital exam centre for Trinity College London  allowing students to sit graded exams locally in a familiar, supportive environment.


A former Irish dancer with a deep rooted connection to rhythm, Deanna has performed professionally on drum kit since the age of 14, touring with renowned theatrical company Macnas, playing with bands, jazz ensembles, and orchestras. Since 2017, she has taught at Drumadore Drum School and offers private drum kit, bodhrán, and percussion lessons to learners of all ages and levels.   • Identified Deanna's strong existing assets - Trinity College London exam centre status, Macnas touring experience, dual MA qualifications as credentialing elements to be prominently featured throughout the digital presence
